About Simon and Hayley
How we met............We both worked at Boots Hearingcare within the contact centre and customer care team when we met and got to know each other. On occasions a group from work would get toghether and go for a few drinks around Llandudno. During these nights out Simon and Hayley got to know each other better and eventually went out on a couple of dates together and soon became an item.

The Proposal

We were in Hereford for the wedding of one of Simon's closest friends Paul and his wife Emily. We were staying at a lovely hotel called Brandon Lodge. On the Friday evening we had visted Hereford town centre for a walk and a meal togther. After this we returned to the hotel, Simon had the ring in the car and without Hayley seeing had to get this from the car and in to the hotel room, once in the room he then had to keep the ring hidden from sight and decided his shoe was the best place for it...until we decided to go out in to the court yard. Simon managed to keep the ring hidden and we were sitting outside enjoying the nice warm evening in the courtyard with the fountain trickling away next to us. Hayley had started to feel a little cold and was about to get up to walk back in to the room when Simon asked her to stay seated and then got down on one knee in front of Hayley and asked the question to which Hayley said yes!!! 

Wedding Ceremony

The Wroxeter Hotel , Wroxeter , Shrewsbury , SY5 6PH, United Kingdom

The ceremony will take place in the Woodland at The Wroxeter Hotel, followed by the reception in the Tipis. We have chosen this venue after we visited on an open day in June 2019. The sun was shining and we had walked through the tipis and out of the rear to find this beautiful woodland meadow with the flowers in full bloom leading to the ceremony area.

We both agreed this area was stunning and it instantly became our first choice (only one we had seen at this stage lol) 

The ceremony will be late afternoon and yes we know a risk is being taken with the outdoor ceremony but have no fear a contingency plan is in place if the weather does what the weather does. As the evening draws in, the celebrations will continue in the lovely Wroxeter Hotel with the chance to show off your best dance moves and finish what we hope will be a special day spent with our dearest families and friends 

Hotel Recommendations

We have found some hotels that are local to the venue. The venue will also have a couple of rooms available and should you wish to arrange to stay at The Wroxeter please let us know directly (see contact us) and we will ask the hotel to contact you.
Accommodation booked by wedding guests at the Venue must be secured with a 50% deposit, the balance to be paid on check-in.
A limited number of rooms may be available for early check-in (before 3:00pm) however a supplement will be charged as follows: check-in at 12:00 noon £15.00, check-in at 1:00pm £10.00, check-in at 2:00pm £5.00. Check-in before 12:00 noon will incur a full room charge -
